You can make a fair chunk of xtra change with surveys. You just have to be certain that they are well established, reputable companies. NEVER pay to join a survey company, or a company that sells a list of survey companies. All legitimate survey companies are FREE to join. I have researched everyone of these companies, and have gotten paid by most of them.
When you register with a survey company, they will want you to fill out a profile of yourself. (All survey takers must be willing to give up some of their privacy, which is another reason why it is so important to only sign up with trusted companies). This is to your advantage, as it will enable them to send you surveys that you will most likely be able to qualify for. Don't worry if you don't qualify for a survey, there will be plenty of others!
Most survey companies will send you an avarage of 2 to 5 surveys a week. Some will be surveys for cash, most will be surveys for points (which can be converted to cash), and others will be surveys for sweepstakes. Some companies, like Zoompanel will award you points even if you don't qualify for the survey, which is really nice, as they realize that your time is valuable too. If you really want to make a fair amount of money with surveys — say an average of $100.00 to $200.00 a month, you would have to sign up with approx. 40 survey companies and be very diligent about checking your e-mail every day to fill them out. I have neither the time nor the inclination for this — hey, there's only so many hours in a day! The survey companies that I have listed below are all trusted, well established companies that WILL NOT spam your e-mail — so don't worry about giving them your primary e-mail address.
