You may have heard of HYIP's before or forex trading. This topic has been the buzz on the Internet money-making sites for the past 3 years. An HYIP is a High Yield Investment Program. These programs claim to invest in high risk, high yield opportunities.
An HYIP can be both offline or online, and maybe be investing in a variety of markets. A large portion of online HYIP's are simply ponzi schemes that call themselves HYIPs. Usually every high yield program goes with quite a risk, so it will be helpful to use diversification while investing in these programs.
Tips and Tricks for HYIP Investing
- There are many scammers out there that will take your deposit and run away. Therefore, make sure the HYIP investor or program has valid contact information. Test it out by sending them an email and see if they respond.
- NEVER invest more than you can afford to lose. There is some risk involved with HYIP's.
- Invest a “little” money in “a lot” of HYIP's. By diversifying your investments you decrease your risk. For example, invest $20 in ten different HYIP's as opposed to investing $200 in one HYIP.
- Some of the HYIP scammers pay for the first 60 – 90 days and then run away with any of the new investments. Surprisingly, you can make good money off them as well. How?!?!? Most HYIP's show the date when they first started investing. If that date is less than 30 days, then invest for one day and then pull out your money the next. 99% of the HYIP's will pay on time for the first 60 – 90 days in order to build good credit.
HYIP's should not scare you even if they seem quite risky. The ones I listed above have been proven to be legit and have great customer support.
